Catedral Ski Resort is the Mecca for skiers in Argentina, Brazil and Chile. During the last years it has doubled the skiable area. A total of 120 km of pistes with a panoramic view to the Nahuel Huapi lake. The access to the pistes is direct and close to the mountain base, which is the most complete regarding winter services among the Argentinean ski resorts. Located 1030 mts above the sea level. The maximum piste elevation is 2180 meters above the sea level, offers one of the most extraordinary views of the Andes.
In the last four years, Catedral Alta Patagonia installed eight lifts and added four more buildings to the resort.
This is why this mountain is considered the most developed ski resort in South America. This plan has generated the addition of new lifts which offers five different ways of ascending to the highest part, bringing more flow in the transportations of skiers. This is how the capacity of skiers per hour has increased by a 100%. As from winter 2008 Catedral Alta Patagonia offers skiers 39 lifts that transport 36.000 passengers per hour.
