  • The Modesta Victoria

    The Modesta Victoria forms part of the history of San Carlos de Bariloche. Presidents, Princes and personalities have boarded her during international congresses and conventions.


It was built in the year 1937 in the Verchure shipyard in Amsterdam by special request from the National Parks Board during the presidency of Don Exequiel Bustillo. It was transported from Amsterdam to Bariloche by ship and train and it was reassembled and launched in 1938. On board this ship you can walk through its three teakwood decks , admire its bronze fittings and alabaster lampshades.

It has a unique rudder which marks a special period in navigation.

It has a capacity of 300 passengers and it is now propelled by two 350 hp engines. Its calm navigation will make your voyage unique and unforgettable.
